Rescue Diver
- Description: On this course you’ll learn to make diving safe and more enjoyable for yourself and for others, how to manage a dive accident if it occurs, and even how to recognize and prevent them. If you’re already a qualified Advanced Open Water Diver and comfortable with your personal diving skills, you’re ready for this course. We will show you the various effective rescue techniques and you can choose the ones that suit you and the particular rescue scenario you are faced with.
First aid and CPR go hand in hand with this course and completion of a sanctioned course in CPR is required for certification as a PADI Rescue Diver. We can run the PADI Emergency First Response course in conjunction with the Rescue course which fulfils these requirements, ask your instructor for details. - Minimum age: 16 years.
- Prerequisites: PADI advanced open water or equivalent, with proof of 20 or more dives documenting experience in deep diving and underwater navigation.
- Course includes: Manual and slate, all equipment, training and PADI Certification.
