Pinnacle, Portichol ( Cathedral Cave )
- Description: Here we dive on a large Pinnacle which sticks out of the water by about 5m. Almost at the base of this pinnacle there is a large cave entrance at 25m, which can fit 4 divers side by side. This cave goes all the way through the Pinnacle and has two exits. The exits are like a T-junction – to the left down to 27m and to the right up to 22m. When we exit the cave we circle the Pinnacle back to the surface. In the cave we find conger eels and various bottom dwelling fish and around the Pinnacle there are usually lots of fish. There is little current at this site and so it is possible to see lobsters here which cling to the wall of the Pinnacle. This is a 2-tank dive due to the distance covered – the second dive is often carried out at Cumbre Del Sol.
