Cumbre del Sol
- Description: Heading North from Moraira is the beach at Cumbre Del Sol. From the car park you can walk to an open topped cave and jump in with your equipment or we can anchor just off the beach and dive from the boat. At this site we swim through a large cave opening and surface inside the open air cave. From here we dive back out of the cave entrance and follow the wall along until we come to a second cave. This is a very wide, low entry which takes you into the cave where a fresh water river pours into the sea. As you surface in this cave you come up through salt water into the cold, fresh water. This sits on top of the salt water forming a salicline and is like traveling through an underwater fog.
- Entry to dive site: from boat or shore.
- Depth: 5 - 15 meters.
- Time to dive site: 20 - 25 minutes.
